Social Hackathon Umbria 2018 (5-8 July in Foligno, Italy)


We are glad to announce that Ynternet.org will be participating on the third edition of the Social Hackathon Umbria. The Hackathon will be focusing on Digital competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship skills and the aim is to answer to this priorities by offering training paths of different formats and durations. At the same time, a call for ideas was launched on three thematic challenges: B-KIDS B-YOUTHS e B-WORK. For each challenge, the two most relevant ideas to be developed will be selected and developed under the guidance of an expert team manager. The B-KIDS challenge will create a digital game that facilitates primary and secondary school teachers in developing entrepreneurial competencies of kids and youngsters. In the B-YOUTHS challenge, teams will compete for the realization of a digital solution based on gaming and mobile learning that can support Youth Workers and their animation activities. And finally, the challenge B-Work will develop an App that takes into consideration the needs of job seekers and would be able to provide answers in an efficient and professional way.


During the 48 hours Hackathon, teams will choose to produce a pitch, a prototype or a product to be presented in front of an international jury. Ynternet.org will be participating as an expert in this Social Hackathon with an idea on the B-Work challenge tópic. This event will take place starting from May 2018 and ending with a digital marathon next 5-8 July in Foligno, Italy.
